The Story

In Chinese culture, the number 4 in Mandarin (四, or sì) is considered unlucky because its pronunciation is almost identical to the word for death (死, sǐ).

Most people like to avoid the number, but it’s something Michael & I wanted to embrace. Because once you understand your time isn’t endless, you cut what doesn’t matter, and you pour everything into what does.

There’s a reason you run faster on race day than in training. You’re surrounded by people giving their all, and it pulls the same out of you.

That’s 444. Always forward, never backward.
